Piano Lessons

For students six and older, piano lessons combine the best of one-on-one learning with group music-making for an education that inspires musical enjoyment, holistic musical training, and collaborative spirit.

How it Works

All Sound Sprouts piano students receive a combination of private lessons and group classes. Most weeks, each student receives an individual 30, 45, or 60 minute lesson. In lieu of their lesson one week each month, piano students gather in groups based on age and skill level to create music together, learn from their peers, and grow confidence performing in front of others. Both lessons and groups take place in Emmaus, PA.

Our students have three studio performances to pick from each year. We know that activities demand a lot of your time, so we schedule our recitals for the "off-season" months in October, February, and April. Additional performance opportunities are available through Ms. Laurel's connections with external organizations such as the Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association.

To keep billing straightforward, lessons are charged with a flat monthly fee September-May. This tuition covers lessons, group-classes, and recitals. The only other regular expense students incur are new piano books every 8+ months. In June-August, students are asked to register for 10 total lessons in order to save their spot in 2026-2027.
